4 Things For Single People To Do On Valentines Day

PSA For All My Single People Out There:

Sure it might suck not having a significant other to celebrate this wonderful holiday with, but as stated above, IT IS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD. Stop moping around like you just lost your puppy and pick yourself up. What we (when I say we I mean YOU) are not about to do this year is throw ourselves a pity party. You don’t need no man (or woman) to make you feel good about yourself! Self love is the best type of love you could ever feel! Never put yourself down because you are not in a relationship and don’t even think about rushing into one either. Take this time alone to figure yourself out and if you are emotionally damaged take this time to heal. You’ll eventually run into that special someone when the time is right. Just be patient and let them come to you!

Not sure what to do with yourself on Valentines Day? Don’t worry I’m here to help! Here’s 4 things for you to do on Valentines Days if you are single.

Go Out With Your Friends

Put on your cutest outfit, wear your highest heels, and get your hair did cuz we are going out tonight! Instead of being alone, why not celebrate this holiday with your friends?! The great thing about being out and about with your friends is that it is an excellent distraction to keep that lonely feeling away. Instead of worrying about your love life, you’ll be letting lose on the dance floor or getting turnt at the bar! You’ll be having so much fun that you won’t even care about all the lovey, dovey stuff going on around you. Who knows, if things go right, you may even score yourself that hottie that you’ve been eyeing at the bar all night. Talk about a happy ending! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Take Yourself Out On A Date

There is absolutely nothing wrong with taking yourself out on a date! This goes for everyone by the way whether you are single or in a relationship. Sometimes it’s best to escape from the pressures of life and treat yourself. Who care’s if you get looked at funny for being alone. As long as you are enjoying yourself and having a good time, that is all that matters! Be your own best friend for the day and take yourself out to your favorite restaurant or see that movie that you’ve been wanting to see for a while. You will discover that you do not need a significant other to celebrate Valentines Day and being your own company should be enough to make you feel loved!

Stay In

Not wanting to go out on Valentines Day? That’s ok! You’re not lame for wanting to stay in, especially if you are on a budget! Save your hard earned coin’s and treat yourself to a “self” date night in at home. Cook yourself a fancy meal, pour yourself a glass of wine, and put on your favorite movie. You don’t need to go out to have fun! Pamper yourself and enjoy your night in to the fullest. You earned it and as a plus your wallet will thank you because you don’t have to worry about dining out or spending money on drinks.

Not Give A Damn

So picture this! It’s the end of the day and you are just now leaving work. After 8 hours on the job you are stressed to the max, TIRED, and ready to pour yourself a big ol’ glass of wine! Who care’s about this stupid holiday right? All you want to do is relax by yourself at home because at the end of the day you know that it is just another day of the week. Truth be told, retailers are the only one’s benefiting from this holiday anyway and it certainly isn’t making you richer. You are on a diet so no chocolate for you and you’re too old to be playing with teddy bears. So why should you even care? You’re not pressed to find a partner at the moment and all you want to do is destress after that long day you had.

If you have been stressing over Valentines Day, did this post make you feel better about yourself? If so, then my job here is done! What do you plan on doing for Valentines Day this year? Feel free to leave a comment below!

Good post… Some people look at being single as a bad thing or as if you can’t be single and happy…. but I definitely rather be single over just being with somebody to say I got someone like some people feel obligated to do.

true; and that’s why relationships don’t last long nowadays. People either rush into things not taking the time to really get to know their significant other or are too scared to be alone so they’ll just settle for anything. Thanks for reading my post! ๐Ÿ™‚
