Life Lessons With Jazzy: You Can’t Please Everyone

This has been one of the most valuable lessons that life has taught me so far. As the years have gone by, I’ve come into contact with lots of people. Some of which I have gotten along just fine with, while others…not so much. It is in human nature to crave attention and communication from others, but sometimes we just have to accept the fact that not everyone we come across will like us. You can be disliked due to various reasons to include personality conflict, a simple misunderstanding, or for no apparent reason at all. There’s nothing written in the “Handbook of Life” that states that is an absolute must for us to be liked by every person we speak to. If you come across someone that dislikes you, shrug it off and go on about your day. YOU know how great of a person you are and guess what? It’s their loss! Let them think what they want to think about you and leave the popularity contests in high school. Winning the popularity contest does not at all equate to winning at the game of life. As a matter of fact they are on two different levels. In order to win at the game of life, be the best you can be and continue to boss up. Drive and ambition are the keys to success and can get you quite far in life.

Accepting the fact that not everyone’s personality will mesh with yours is a major part of personal development. Learn to love yourself and stop trying to be accepted by others. Truth be told, most of the people that you come across don’t care about you or your feelings. It’s a harsh reality but it is what it is. There are only 3 things in life that you should be concerned with to include:

Anything outside of the three things listed is IRRELEVENT. This is why it is important to focus on yourself and stop caring about whether or not someone likes you. Ignorance is everywhere and some people simply are not worth your time.

This is so true, it’s a waste of time, caring about what other people think of you

Yes definitely! This is where the problem lies for most people and the reason why they can’t get ahead in life.
