With New Years right around the corner, a majority of us have a list of goals that we are trying to reach for the new year. Whether it is weight loss, a change in attitude, or even a career change, we all have something that we are trying to achieve. Goals are not always easy to meet which is why we have to motivate ourselves to do great! The reason why most people fail to meet their New Year Resolution is due the fact that they psyche themselves out and quit. Quitting should never be an option when it comes to going after the things that you want in life. Be a go getter not a quitter!
Do you struggle with meeting your New Years Resolution due to lack of motivation? Below are some tips that will help motivate you to reach your goals!
Speak It Into Existence

In order to motivate yourself to achieve your goals you must SPEAK IT INTO EXISTENCE! How you ask? Simply by telling yourself that nothing will get in your way of reaching your goal and you will achieve it at all costs. Claim it and go for what you want no matter what obstacles may come in your way. If you say you’re going to do something, then stick to your word and do it! It may be difficult at first, but nothing in life is easy. That’s you got to keep going in order to achieve the results that you are looking for. Which brings me to my next tip….
Fall Down To Get Back Up!

Never give up or get discouraged by failure! Maintaining an attitude like this will get you absolutely nowhere in life. Failure happens to everyone not just you! Even some of the most successful people have experienced it at some point in their lives, but they got to where they are in life because they never gave up. The only way to reach your goal and see results is to maintain a positive attitude and persevere. Don’t look at failure as an obstacle, look at is as a way to improve yourself instead. This is where trial and error comes into play. In order to overcome failure, you must look at the situation and pin point exactly where you went wrong. Keep trying different things until you get it right and keep on going. Eventually you will get to where you need to be and will feel good about yourself because your goal has been met. Push yourself to be the best that you can be and don’t let anything get in your way!
Keep Track of Your Progress!

Tracking your progress is an excellent way to help you achieve your goal! Keep track of your progress by writing in a journal. Write down any milestones that have been achieved and any progression made towards the goal that you are looking to meet. Eventually you’ll look back and see how far you’ve come. It’s a great feeling to see yourself improve over time and you’ll be proud of yourself for becoming a better version of you.

Tracking is key for me. If I don’t see progress it motivates me to work harder (or rework when needed), and if I do see progress it motivates me that something is working and I should keep it up! Good luck on your goals!

Writing things down where I can’t avoid seeing it again is my way of “speaking it into existence.” Whether it’s a post-it or a whiteboard, there’s some kind of magic in this for me!

Lovely post.
I have walked with lots of lovely people to realize and exceed their dreams. I have come to my own personal conclusion. It is more practical to have bit by bit achievable goals that it within the 1-year, 5-years, 10-year plans.
A daily 15-minute walk – check.
A daily 15-minute meditation – check.
A daily 15-minute mental state of my being to kaizen success in closing my deals today – check
These little tenets of action add up to a whole lot at the end of the year.
I have scheduled to share this on Twitter.
