In order to best your best self, one of the things that you need to work on if you don’t have it already is boosting your confidence. Self-confidence is something that is self taught and can only be learned though personal development, patience, and self motivation. If this is something that you are struggling with on a daily basis, don’t be discouraged! You can do it as you as you long believe in yourself and stay positive!
Not sure where to start? See below for tips on how to boost your confidence and be the superstar that you know that you are!
Learn to love yourself

Learn to love yourself and stop comparing yourself to others. This is something that a lot of us struggle with. We compare ourselves to others and judge them based on both their actions and outward appearance. A person can look good on the outside and seem to have everything going for them, but that may be the case at all. You never know what someone is truly going through unless you speak to them and get to know them. This is why it is best to focus on yourself and worry about YOU! Stop picking at your flaws and worrying about what others think because your flaws are what make you unique. In a world full of black and white, why not stand out and be a purple zebra?
Wear Your Favorite Outfit

Go get yourself dolled up, put on your favorite outfit and strut yo’ stuff! Wearing your favorite outfit and looking your best can definitely be a confidence booster. When you look your best, you feel your best. Be the sexy beast that you know you are and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. As you sashay your way through the day, you may end up turning a few heads and possibly even gain a few haters. That’s ok though! What we are not about to do is let these ignorant folks ruin our day with their STANKITUDE! Let them be mad cuz honey you got it going on! Blow a kiss at those haters and keep it moving. You know you look good and that’s all that matters!
Smile

Is that a smile I see? Uh oh, your confidence is showing! As the saying goes “When you smile, the whole world smiles back at you”. This statement is a definite fact! A nice smile can light up any room and radiate all sorts of positive vibes! When you smile, not only does it indicate happiness, but it can also show how confident you are in yourself. Just a smile alone can make anyone’s day better, including yourself!
Workout

A lot of us lack self-confidence because we are not comfortable in our own bodies, myself included. We strive to achieve the perfect body and shame ourselves when we gain a few pounds because society tells us to do so. If you feel that you need to lose a few pounds in order to feel better about yourself, go for it! There is absolutely nothing wrong with living a healthy lifestyle and I feel that we could all benefit from it. Keep in mind though that this is a major lifestyle change, and in order to see the results that you are looking for you must keep at it. If this is something that you truly want to do, make sure that you are doing it for you and not for anyone else. Don’t let anyone tell you how are supposed to look. Only you know what your ideal body shape is and no one else’s opinions matter!
Practice Self-Care

Take time to take care of you and can focus on yourself mentally. When you have a positive outlook on life, this can help immensely when it comes to boosting your confidence. How you ask? Well think about it. The reason why you are being so hard on yourself is because you are not in a good place mentally. This is why it is important to take time out of your day to do the things that you enjoy doing and practice self care when you can. You’ll find that when you practice self care, not only will you feel good but you are now out of that bad place that you were once in. All of the negative thoughts that one filled your mind have gone away and the void where the bad place once was is now filled with nothing but inner peace and happiness!
