As you get older, you’ll start to come to the realization that people frequently come and go in your life. Communication can stop for many reasons to include:
- Life
- Family
- Busy Schedule
- Moving
- Having A Falling Out
While you may feel some pain and resentment towards your friend, please don’t take it personally! As the saying goes “the phone works both ways”. Regardless of what they have going on in their life, if this person was really that great of their friend, trust me they’ll find ways to communicate with you. Cherish the memories that you had with this person and let this be an eye opener for you. Remember, no matter how hard life gets, only the real will stand by your side!
Sometimes it is best to just focus on yourself and be your own company. Focusing on yourself promotes personal growth and you’ll soon realize that the best friend that you can ever have is YOU!

So true, lovely post.

This is such a great and true post. The main thing you need to do is love and focus on yourself, don’t run around chasing after friends that will come and go anyway 🙂 such a great message to spread that I wish I knew a long time ago x

It is said before, but this is so true! I’ve beaten myself up over friendship falling apart but now I see it’s (sometimes) the way to be. Reassuring words from you in this post, thank you!

Yup! Sometimes that is definitely the best way to be. I’ve learned that as you age most of the people you thought were your friends really aren’t. As time goes on they start to reveal their true selves. It is to just best to let them go so you can focus on yourself and grow.
