Chicken Alfredo Bake

Who doesn’t love chicken alfredo?! This dish is absolutely flavorful with plenty of chicken and cheese and peppers in every bite! Give my take on chicken alfredo a try, I guarentee this meal won’t disappoint!

Ingredients:

  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 2 jars of 14.5 oz alfredo sauce (I used Prego Artisan Four Cheese)
  • 16 oz of penne pasta
  • 2 bags of Italian Mix Cheese or Parmasean
  • 1 can of rotel
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1 tbsp of minced garlic

Seasonings:

  • Ms. Dash Italian Seasoning
  • Pepper
  • Seasoning salt
  • Onion Powder
  • Garlic Powder

*I’m not including measurements for the seasonings because I want you to season your food to your taste 😊*

1.) Cut your chicken into medium sized pieces and place into boiling water. Once cooked through, take the chicken out and shred. Season with onion powder, garlic powder, seasoning salt and italian seasoning, and pepper. Set to the side.
2.) Cut your peppers and onions into strips and add to the pot. Add your olive oil and minced garlic and saute until all veggies are soft.

3.) In a medium sized pot add your penne noodles along with water and salt. Boil until soft.
4.) Once we get our veggies cooked, add in the 2 jars of alfredo sauce and can of rotel. Feel free to add more seasonings like I did above. I love flavor!! 👩🏾‍🍳 Cook for about 15 minutes. Once the sauce is cooked, add your noodles and stir for about 5 minutes.

4.) In a pan start assembling your baked chicken alfredo. I like to do 3 layers in this order: noodles, cheese, noodles. Put your stove on 350 and let it bake for about 15-20 minutes.
5.) Take food out of the oven after 15-20 minutes. You dish is now finished!
